The second session of the 2018 Alex Picot Trust Ladies Team Tennis Series came to a conclusion recently with the closest set of matches seen over the ten weeks of the league, played on the final night.
From July to October over 50 players from The Caesarean Tennis Club, making up 6 teams, took part in weekly matches.

The final of the second session also saw the first defeat of the eventual champions, by the runners-up, but the margin of their lead was such that they could not be caught overall.
Ladies Team Captain, Karen Barnes presented the prizes to the winners, runners up and “wooden spoonists”, the latter being the most closely contested!

4th – Team C (Maureen Corrigan) minus 62
5th – Team A (Fiona Picot) minus 64

The winning team E – Siobhan Cadby, Lee Falle, Pat Pascual, Patrice Romeril, Neera Watts and Zoe Wauton.
The runners-up – Christine Budd, Jo Chaplin, Sarah Evans, Miriam Gouge, Davina Hives, Henrietta Manton-Jones and Alison Taylor.
